Morocco:
Improved 20 dirhams notes. It was announced this week that Morocco has issued 20
dirham notes
printed on "long life" paper produced by the German firm
Louisenthal.
The next note to be produced on this new substrate will be
the 50 dirham. The notes expressed in old bolívares, which were slated to
lose their
legal tender status at the end of the month, will remain
legal tender
until the end of the year. that the situation will be then reconsidered to decide
whether or not to
extend the redemption period.
